Hi-Q will exist as long as we believe in Hi-Q

Everything started in 1996 in Brasov, with two high-school students that were dreaming with open eyes. In the beginning, Hi-Q meant Florin and Mihai, one of them writing the music and the other taking care of the management. We got special people in our band, members and co-workers with whom we reached tops higher than our dreams. We enjoyed the joining of each one of them, and we regretted each parting.

We were surprised by the way Anya chose to leave, but somehow she was right: however much we want to continue in this formula it will never work. The three formula being in fact a compromise, it has no future. Maybe Anya knew it. Regardless of our plans and enthusiasm, time and experience proved that Hi-Q band means Florin and Mihai.

Behind a long project there is a lot of work, responsibility, dedication, selflessness and profesionalism. Allow us to think that we have strictly followed this recipe. Hi-Q will continue to offer music, bring joy in concerts, gather crowds in happiness.

We apologize that the album we have worked on for two years will not be available in spring time, as we promised. We will start from zero and prepare new songs, innovative in sound and approach! It will be a musical experiment that will suprise you. :-)

Starting with march 2010, Hi-Q live concerts will be presented in a new formula, with two female backing voices joining the band!

This moment is a tough one but full of hope as well. It is a new journey and a return to origins at the same time. After 14 years we understand that the original formula was the strongest, devoid of compromises.
